Glenn Rhee, hands down. Why? He was awkward, funny, and the sweetest character on the show. He was extraordinarily brave, friendly, kindhearted, optimistic, loving, and selfless. However, I hate the idea that so many people in the popular GA for this show looked down on him, and saw him as weak and boring, just because he wasn’t the steel-edged Rick, Daryl, Michonne, Carol, or Carl type survivalist, who could kill without flinching and actually had a well-developed conscience, unlike most of the main characters on this show.

Glenn wasn’t weak simply because he was a better person than most people on the show, and because he felt guilt and remorse over what he did to survive more than any other, and if the show wants me to believe that they killed him off because he was just another nice guy who was too pure to survive, like Dale, or Andrea, then they are idiots. No, he didn’t start out that strong. He was always selfless and kindhearted, but he also started out as a major pushover errand “walker bait” boy. Then, he met Maggie, fell in love with her, that gave him someone to fight for, someone to live for, and he learned to stick up for himself and his loved ones. He really had the best and most profound character development on this show because he learned to be a more optimistic person because of the world going to shit.
