I remember it because when The Cookie Muncher shirt collecting the income from most games we usually could leave it for a week and Gauntlet had a BIG cashbox that could hold about AUD$500 in 20c coins. Ha! first weeks we had to collect it every 2 days or the cashbox would overflow. It should be very easy to isolate those sounds, as the game doesn’t have any music. Muncher got her name because she was a stone-cold muncher when we put the food out, and Hairy because she was. We wanted Muncher, but my sister convinced us to take both because they would be lonely without each other. After two years Hairy decided she was not an indoor cat and left. Muncher is still with us 13 years later.

My boyfriend said, “If they eat food, The Cookie Muncher shirt we are bringing them in.” We tried some baby food and they went crazy for it. We ended up doing a combination of bottle feeding and wet kitten food. We had to do the butt wiping and cuddling, and Muncher’s new buddy, Ed Gumji, took over grooming them and then playing with them as they grew older. She is devoted to her guy. Me she tolerates but mostly hisses at me. Eight years later we have our grumpy Muncher downstairs (she and M clearly share a dad. Their coloring is the same and they have the same white stripe over their hips) and Ed Gumji, Tom (O’Hawk), and M make the upstairs clowder.
