Unfortunately yes. Two years ago my husband and I were going to my sister’s college graduation. We had to drive through several cities and towns. When we were about 5 or so minutes away from it. We were sitting at a red light. All of the sudden the car behind us plowed in to us from behind. Turns out it was a 4 car crash. As the rear car hit the one in front of it and pushed the next one in to the next one and then in to us. Thankfully we were the lead car and didn’t hit anyone. The cops were called. When they finally arrived we were told we all had to exit our cars and stand on the roadside for safety reasons. I totally get that.

As we continued to wait I told my husband I had to pee. Anyone that knows me know I have a small bladder and cannot hold it long. He said just walk down to the store which was a half mile down from the crash. As I started to walk, one of the two cops rushed over and said where are you going. I explained to him my situation. In sort of a rude tone he said I canot leave, that he needs statements. For me to go back and wait by the roadside. In shock, I walked back over. After a few more minutes of waiting I had to go bad. My husband which was ticked over them not letting me go, went and told the other younger cop. And he said he would have to ask the other one. That he was in charge. My husband went and told the rude one, and he still said no.
