The series is about lone gunslinger in the far reaches of the galaxy away from the New Republic. The 2019 Star Wars Celebration in Chicago says that it is set five years after the events of the Battle of Endor in 9 ABY. I think it will be good, at least based on what we see in the trailer. We’ve got some very intense action, ranging from wild firefights to people getting chopped in half by doors (as part of the Mandalorian’s execution routine).

The storyline, from what I saw in the trailer, Star Wars The Mandalorian and Baby Yoda shirt looks a bit similar to the Force Unleashed – we have a Mandalorian bounty hunter who carves death and destruction (even possibly killing IMperials) while hunting down what seem to be Rebels. Furthermore, we’re having a show on a Mandalorian. This is a great change of storyline; we’ve been getting too much focus on the Skywalkers. Even though we’re again back in the Galactic Empire era, it’s nice to divert attention to someone that isn’t a Skywalker or related to one.
