I even brought up they way he treated is former girl friend, as well as his son. I quit. There was only one other employee and when I tried to tell her what happened, I could tell she had taken the boss’s side. I recognized that she needed the job badly and she took his side in order to brown nose and remain employed. I never bothered to talk her since. I learned later from a customer of his, that my boss claimed he didn’t know why I quit and wasted no time trashing me. No doubt he railed against me to others as well which is really a stupid and unprofessional thing to do.
So I’m standing in the area in front of the doors where there aren’t any seats and I’m holding on the support rail. The area is pretty full of people but I can still look around. One of the people standing in front of me is this middle age man, he’s holding onto one of the handles as well. As we’re standing there riding the train I’m just looking around at stuff trying not to make awkward eye contact with all the other commuters standing within a foot of me. So at one point I look down and I just happen to see the middle aged guys other hand and I noticed that it’s positioned sort of awkwardly. Instead of his palm facing himself, like how it would naturally hang, his palm was facing backwards. I didn’t think anything bad I just thought it was a strange way to position your hand.
As I continue to look around I start to notice this guys hand again. I keep thinking my eyes are playing tricks on me but I look down and it looks like he’s touching one of the girls behind and side and waist. I look up and look at his face and but he’s giving no indicators that he’s being a perv so I start to second guess myself. I just assume it because space is tight on the packed shifting train. The girl also isn’t reacting to being touched and the guy isn’t touching her constantly so I pass it off. I don’t know how long he was doing it but we were on the train for maybe 10 minutes before I noticed. My stop was coming up and I got off fairly soon after this all played out in front of me.
I have replayed that moment so many times since that day almost 20 years ago and I regret not doing something. That guy knew what he was doing. It’s the whole reason his hand was facing awkwardly. He was using the fact that when we’re on a crammed train we expect things to be bumping into us all over our body. Be on guard on packed trains girls. I’m sorry I didn’t trust my gut and stop him that day, but the least I can do is make you aware of those situations and people like that.
Quick to the point here, I was very nervous about my upcoming interview and studying up on the company background and history during the flight . The flight attendant during that flight quit till five my body language and was very sweet and attentive . Not to mention a very attractive brunette with a gorgeous body that went along with her amazing personality and intellect, (which only made me more nervous). We shared some interesting stories about travel, life along with some casual flirting during the first few hours of the five hour flight.
In doing so, he showed everyone what a loser he was. The customer that told me about it, offered me a job, so he didn’t buy the trash my boss spewed. Several years later I found out my former boss had gone out of business, didn’t pay the rent on the building and was sued by the owner. He also lost his house, as he couldn’t pay the mortgage. More than likely he lost his trashy gold digger girlfriend after she finally realized he was a financial mess. That boss blamed his financial failures on everyone and anything else. Last I heard he was working in his sister’s bar and grill because that was the only job he could get at the age 50.
