The boys went running to mama who stormed out to the dining room and returned in a few minutes with the boys and her husband. She started toward mama bear (my wife) with husband right behind. I saw what was happening and cut the angle and stood between them and my wife. I will admit, I am an imposing character when you are messing with my family. The woman stopped, looked at my wife then at me and then was grabbed by her husband and they all retreated back to the dining room very quickly. I gathered our family and we returned to the cars to head out before anybody else created a problem.

This family was nowhere to be found. Before anyone makes a big deal out of this, my wife did not touch these boys, she only intervened to keep them from possibly being hurt. I’m still in my second year, studying from home during CoVid19 and still loving every minute of it. Reading some responses here, I get the impression some people either don’t like hard work, don’t like studying, or have chosen the wrong subject for themselves. If you love your subject and have an inquisitive mind, a PhD (or in my case, DPhil) will be the best thing you ever do. Enjoy!
