I’ve attended two games involving the Boston Bruins. The first was during the 1991–1992 inaugural season of the San Jose Sharks. There were thousands of Bruins fans in attendance. The Bruins Nation is strong, and in hockey in the USA second only to the Blackhawk Nation. Many of the fans were loud, rude, and obnoxious. After the game (which I am sure ended up in a San Jose loss) the Cow Palace parking lot was awash with fistfights between Sharks and Bruins fans. I recall seeing one big Bruins fans sitting on a Sharks fan pummeling the victim in the face.
