The most popular British toilet tissue is that which is thick, often 3ply, soft, textured, absorbent and stable, so that it doesn’t rip during use but still breaks up once flushed. Whilst the quality in public toilets is not this grade, people will just use a lot more and some women carry hygiene wipes in their bags. I have only purchased foreign toilet tissue in Africa and it was awful. I took cheap stuff with me and even that was better.
I also took a big pack of wipes. hildren are taught from an early age how to manage cleanliness in the toilet and are still allowed to ask for help when they’ve done a poo. My own granddaughter, who is four has been in tears because there are no wet wipes at school and she doesn’t want to be dirty. Ok this is my own family but it’s a general trend now. Many people have issues with public toilets, which are cleaned regularly but yes, many bottoms.
