I am having a distinct problem Baby Yoda soft alien warm alien sleeping in your ball shirt with the reputed 50 year age of this infant. Which seems an exceptionally long time for any species to be in what appears to be the same level of a 1 or 2 years old human baby. However, it may be because this cloned “infant” was placed in stasis and has not actually aged on a normal basis for Yoda’s species. Yoda lived to be 800 years old. Which by equating his species infancy to 50 years doesn’t seem to jell with any realistic aging process. In this strange example, 50 years in Yoda’s species life cycle equals 1/16 of his full lifetime. A very strange fraction of Yoda’s species overall lifetime. And if this fraction holds true over Yoda’s lifetime, he should have been in his late 40s in appearance when he first meets Anakin Skywalker.

This little guy is actually 50 years old, though he is technically still in infancy since Yoda’s species age very differently than humans do and can live for hundreds of years (Yoda died at age 900). “Baby Yoda” is not actually Yoda himself. He is another member of the same species. His real name is not yet known. With the Baby Yoda hanging around with the Mandalorian, there is the suspicion that it will be going to the Dark side as it enjoyed when he disintegrated those helium huffing Jawas: really enjoyed it.
